Yes, often when download URLs change, and download results are in fact just 404's... > > ============ > mkdir -p /sw/src/aquaterm-0.3.0a-4 > tar -xvzf /sw/src/aquaterm-0.3.0a.tar.gz > > gzip: stdin: not in gzip format > tar: Child returned status 1 > tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors > ### tar failed, exit code 2 > Unpacking the tarball aquaterm-0.3.0a.tar.gz of package aquaterm-0.3.0a-4 > failed. The most likely cause for this is a corrupted or incomplete download. The by *far* most usual reason for this is that the download URL has changed, and that you need to do 'fink selfupdate-cvs' to get the new locations in your fink .info files. -- Oscar Erlandsson Erlandsson at mac dot com ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek No, I will not fix your computer. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
