I'd guess, then, that when you were prompted which package to use to satisfy a dependency, you accidentally picked -ssl once (because the order gets reversed). I have the same warning for gnome-vfs and gnome-libs.
I had tried "fink install gnome-vfs-ssl-dev" but the package is not

Do I have to remove entirely gnome and re-install it or there is
