If you are using binaries, then just use "sudo dselect" or "sudo apt-get
install system-xfree86".  If you are building from source, "fink install
system-xfree86"

You absolutely _cannot_ move any of the core X11 stuff from /usr/X11R6 to
anywhere else.  As for moving fink, it is possible.  See

I'm not sure about a tutorial.  The fink web page
(http://fink.sourceforge.net/) has some documentation.
