Thanks largely in part to the assistance of Alexander Hansen at MIT, I know have succuessfully run KMahjong and Gimp on my iBook. I am pleased to report that running Gimp from Fink seems to be quicker and much less buggy than the MacGimp on my machine. I am so pleased to have access to some of my favorite linux stuff on my iBook. Now that darned thing can do anything. And the price is certainly right! Fink devs, You may now count me amongst your deepest and sincerest fans. As an advocate for OSS in schools, I think that this project is vastly important, since Macs have such a presence in schools. Adding fink and, therefore, access to so much fantastic free oSS is a no-brainer for any school running OS X, now. /rant
