I recently tried to "update-all" from my terminal and received an error
after about 2 hours of processing and installing a variety of applications.
I have never been able to update-all from Fink Commander as there always was
an error with some cvs thing. When I updated from the terminal using the
"fink update-all" command I got the following (after a couple of hours of
output without errors):

Unpacking system-tetex (from
.../system-tetex_20010808-10_darwin-powerpc.deb) ...

You don't a valid teTeX installation; you were missing
 /usr/local/teTeX/lib/libkpathsea.a
/usr/local/teTeX/include/kpathsea/tex-file.h
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf

Install the tetex-texmf and tetex-base packages instead,
or install teTeX manually from
http://www.uoregon.edu/~koch/texshop/texshop.html
and then retry installing the system-tetex package.

If you are trying to install tetex using dselect or apt-get,
you must install tetex-texmf using the command
     fink install tetex-texmf .
There is no binary available for this package, for licensing
reasons.

dpkg: error processing
/sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/text/system-tetex_20010808-
10_darwin-powerpc.deb (--install):
subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/text/system-tetex_20010808
-10_darwin-powerpc.deb
### execution of dpkg failed, exit code 1
Failed: can't install package system-tetex-20010808-10

Is all I need to do is install tetex? If that is the case, why doesn't Fink
take care of this, at least I think that is the whole reason for installing
and using Fink.
Thanks
Jeremy
