I've got scribus working and I don't even have /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts . I do have /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts , which has a Type1 subdirectory that has a bunch of fonts in it.

I'm using the Fink xfree86 (XFree86-4.3) package.

Hi,

a month or so ago I managed with the help of this list to install
Scribus but up to now I am unable to start it up. Whenever I call
scribus up it says "No Postscript Fonts are found" and quits
immediatly after this error message. At work on a pure Linux
machine I too installed Scribus and there I can fire it up without
any problems.

So in which folder do I have to put my PS Fonts in in order to get
Scribus working.

I have a iMac G3 400Mhz with Mac OS X 10.2.6, Xfree86.org 4.3.0,
fink 0.5.3cvs and the new system system-xfree86-43 placeholder.
Scribus installed well and was uptaded to 1.0.1-3 as of today
morning. All depencies are afaik fullfilled. Currently the fonts
are in /usr/X11r6/lib/fonts.

So where is my fault?
