Yeah that was surely one part of the solution but still not the whole one. I think something is messed up wiht my Xfree86.org Setup. I will do a reinstall tomorrow and a fink update etc. and then I will see if I can see a bit clearer. At the moment I get the following error message when starting Scribus [Maverics-Computer:~] erichoch% QSettings::sync: filename is null/empty QSettings::sync: filename is null/empty QSettings::sync: filename is null/empty Or maybe I am using wrong Fonts but they are all marked as Post Script Fonts when using the Adobe Type Manager under Classic OS.
