or quick and dirty: you could just remove your entire
/sw directory.

as for X11, if you have the new release (1.0+) it will
unpack in Applications/Utilities. X11 0.3 was just in
Applications. 0.3 can safely be removed afterwards.

if you want to do a clean install of fink, make sure
you download X11SDK. this has to selected as a
customised install. (it's on disc 3 if memory serves.)
