It was, but that (and AKH's message) got me to thinking, and I realized that I needed to move the .info and .patch files to the "local" folder in the 10.3 branch rather than the 10.2-gcc3.3 branch. Somehow, it wasn't clear to me from the docs that they could or should be moved between branches.
That's because the multiple branches are relatively new--I wouldn't necessarily want to put it in the docs because there is a higher probability of failure in this case as opposed to just moving files from the unstable branch of 10.3

LyX seems to have built correctly and my initial tests indicate that it is running okay, but Octave and R both failed to build.
