There's an unofficial binary distribution-- check out http://ranger.befunk.com/blog/archives/000272.html.

That might be something to try. There's no real way to put in a replacement file.

Dear Alexander,
In my ongoing efforts to update bundle-kde and the inability to install kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11 I have searched through :
/bin/mv /sw/src/root-kdebase3-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/
where the missing *randr*.so file is supposed to reside. I don't know if I need other missing files yet as the build has quit at (as you already know):
/bin/mv: rename /sw/src/root-kdebase3-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/*randr*.so to /sw/src/root-kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3//*randr*.so: No such file or directory
### execution of /bin/mv failed, exit code 1
Failed: installing kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11 failed

Is it possible to get the missing file from somewhere else and put into the directory so that the compiler finds it? Can I modify some other file in the directory to replace the missing *randr* file?
I am at a loss.
PS- I ran the update thru Commander hoping that it would build correctly and it did not. This is why I had the output limit at 100k as opposed to Terminal and unlimited output.

Thanks,
Brian
