[Fink-beginners] Self update fails with a "-t/-f wrappers not supported"

As the subject says, I am unable to run selfupdate, either from the 
command line or from FinkCommander.  The error says that -t/-f wrappers 
not supported.  I am running  OS 10.3.3, fink .70.0 and I have the 
latest version of XCode installed. Any idea what I need to do to get it 
to work?  Thanks.
