Hi Martin, do you have the threads from 3/16/04 about xcdroast or can you point me in the right direction to view the thread? Is is on the website or just part of the post that goes across in the mailing list. I actually signed up to the mailing list not so long ago, so I don't have any thread from 3/16/04.

There are archives. But anyway, it won't help very much.

On another note, I tried downloading 10.2-gcc3.3, but it did not installed and the only files that showed up were the ones that I mentioned earlier in the prior email below:

/sw/fink/10.2/unstable/main/finkinfo/utils/xcdroast.info
/sw/fink/10.2/unstable/main/finkinfo/utils/xcdroast.patch
/sw/fink/10.2-gcc3.3/unstable/main/finkinfo/utils/xcdroast.info
/sw/fink/10.2-gcc3.3/unstable/main/finkinfo/utils/xcdroast.patch

I think it has been explained several times that you should copy the two files from 10.2-gcc3.3 into your local/main/finkinfo directory, but not into the one in /sw/fink.old, the one in /sw/fink.

That is when I went directly to the website of the author and downloaded 10.3.

after going back and looking for xcdroast-0.98alpha15 application, I found it in a location where I did not put it. The application now resides in

/sw/fink.old/10.3/local/main/finkinfo; the other files in the directory are as follows:

ReadMe.rtf
Start X-CD-Roast.app
xcdroast-manual.pdf
Start X-CD-Roast (German).app
xcdroast-0.98alpha15.pkg

As I said before, fink doesn't look at other files than *.info and *.patch. And it doesn't look in /sw/fink.old.
