Did you install them with fink? Fink only knows what has been installed in the fink environment. It doesn't know all the X11 app's etc. that might be on the system.

I did not use Fink. However ther are some packages in my system (bzip2 for instance)
not installed by Fink, that Fink found as installed.
Actually, Fink did not found bzip2, but reinstalled it on your system. A few packages are essential for Fink (bzip2 is one of them), and are installed along with Fink.
Generally speaking, Fink does not look on your system to see if you have installed packages by yourself. The only few exceptions to this rule are the virtual packages, like x11 or darwin for example.
Anyway I shall keep the already installed software in the meanwhile. I'll inform you if, in the future, it can be a problem.
There is no problem in having packages installed by Fink and other installed by hand. As said in my last post, Fink instals its packages in /sw, so they won't interfere with the ones you have installed elsewhere.
