Ok, how do I start kde on my Mac then :)
Best regards Sren
You can try running
startkde
from a terminal window. My recollection is that KDE didn't get along well with OroborOSX, though.
You might also be able to run dcopserver first as part of your script--I'm not sure whether this will work or not, though.

Hi
Im totally new to fink.
I followd this article:
http://www.applelust.com/reviews/archives/kstars/
I have installed kstars via fink successfully, and I have created the script as described in the article, but when i run the script i first get a dialog saying this:
---------- DIALOG ----------
There was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was:
Could not read network connection list. /Users/soren/.DCOPserver_wopr.local__0
Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running! ---------- DIALOG ----------
What is the dcopserver, and is the problem simply that I have not started this?
The article is incorrect (or maybe outdated). I had the same problem, but when I started KDE before launching kstars the latter worked.
