Good morning :)

I am hoping to be able to set up my G5 to run the KDE or Gnome desktop on Tiger.

I had my Powerbook set up as a  dual-boot system (holding option key to boot into Yellowdog). Ideally, I would be able to boot in Tiger, open a Linux desktop window and Virtual PC and thus have access to all 3 at the same time.

I have found Mac on Linux resources, but I would prefer to boot in OS X as I use professional media software that is just easier on a Mac. I use OpenOffice, GIMP, and various Math apps in OSX, but would like to be able to take advantage of all of the Linux apps.

I have Fink and Commander running and updated. X11 and Developer Tools (XCode and such) installed.

I have seen screen captures, but haven't found a step-by-step yet. Any references would be appreciated.
