I agree.  I'm waiting on www.opensource.apple.com to accurately reflect
the X11 source that's available on the system.  Comparing against the
previous tarball up there, there are quite a few differences between it
and mainline x11 (lots of type-size differences).

Once I can get that (kvv is looking into getting it up there) I'd like
to see if maybe we can narrow down what might be different between
apple's x11 and ours.  Maybe that will give us some clues.

Certain fonts seem to set it off, but it's unclear why or how, at this
point.
