Title: Problem with broken packages
Hi all,

New to the list and new to fink.

I’m running a MacPowerPC G4 with OS 10.4.3.

I’ve installed Fink and Fink Commander with the aim of running Gnumeric.

When I try to install I get the following message:

Reading Package Lists...
Building Dependency Tree...
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
gnumeric: Depends: gtk+2-shlibs (>= 2.4.0-1) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libgnomeui2-shlibs (>= 2.4.0.1-1) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libbonoboui2-shlibs (>= 2.0.3-2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libgnomeprint2.2-shlibs (>= 2.4.2-1) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libgnomeprintui2.2-shlibs (>= 2.4.2-1) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libglade2-shlibs (>= 2.0.1-2) but it is not going to be installed
E: Sorry, broken packages

I tried to uninstall Fink and Reinstall it but no luck.
I also went back to the OSX installation disc 1 and installed all of the X-code, but no luck there either.

What’s the solution to this problem?
