Like most applications you install via Fink, you'll need to run this
via the command line.

1) start X11
1A)  I recommend editing the command that the X11 "Terminal" menu item
runs to use

xterm -ls

rather than

xterm

because this will make your life easier down the road (ls stands for
"login shell").

2) From your terminal enter

gnumeric

at the prompt.  That should do it.
