So then, what should I try next to successfully get KDE installed?


(By the way, I am a rank beginner at this, but I did notice that  
enough of the basic framework was installed in my attempt to install  
KDE that, for example, lynx is there and operable.  But I could find  
no sign of konqueror, kate, etc.)
