/usr/X11R6/bin/xedit came with Apple's X11 on Tiger. For some reason 
unknown to me, Apple has decided not to include xedit in their X11 
distribution for Leopard. You could ask them on Apple's x11-users list

why this is so. Perhaps they didn't think anyone is still using it. Fink 
never had an xedit package, as far as I know.
