Right.  "not all" includes anything in the unstable tree--at least from
our official binary repository.

As expected, if you were following the binary update syntax and
therefore didn't have rsync or cvs turned on at that point.

Which package is this error actually from?
Can you provide the output from just before the error occurred?  Start
with the last line before things started going crazy, and go from there.
