Howdy y'all,

I'm trying to install mysql-shlibs on Snow Leopard, after recently
upgrading my fink via the instructions on the fink homepage. Sadly,
it's giving me the lo "no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH" error.

I call shenanigans on this. Not only do I have Xcode installed, but
I've installed several dozen other fink packages early today using
this same configuration. Yes, /usr/bin/gcc is present and reporting
for duty, and /usr/bin is most definitely in my $PATH. (The correct
$PATH value also shows up in the config.log file that's generated
during this error.)

FWIW, it also claims that it can't kind awk, which is a similarly
silly thing for it to be saying.

Near as I can tell, this one package is simply insane. And that makes
me sad, because I really need the header files it installs. :(. I
haven't encountered a problem like this with Fink before, and would
definitely appreciate any insight that anyone here could offer.
Thanks!
