I upgraded the machine from 10.5 to 10.6.

I think I installed the 32-bit version of fink. fink --version gives:

Package manager version: 0.29.10
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Mon Apr 19 09:45:25 2010, 10.6, i386

I made a clean installation of fink for 10.6: I first deleted the old /sw
directory and created a new /sw for the new fink installation. Naturally this
meant I had to reinstall the apps I had accumulated, including grace. Perhaps
I should delete /sw and start over with a 64-bit version of fink?

Thanks for your help, Robert.
