Did KDE actually start by itself (which was the goal), or are you running it again? If the latter, then I'd expect to see the same thing again. > Which other window manager is running?¿? > > Regards, > Ulrich > Presumably Apple's quartz-wm. I just recalled something: you also need to do sudo cp /usr/X11/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc /opt/X11/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc Quit X11, and then restart it. Hopefully KDE will start up by itself. <snip> - -- Alexander Hansen Fink User Liaison -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkxJdjkACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ9YuQCfY2RXjU9bwjF2FnCHmvMkHTqn SGUAnRHlXwigMDdgl7U7IkCBxbP8EPXz =pNIY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone?
