Copying the cc symlink worked for that. Next bootstrap complained that there was no make. So, I copied that from /Developer/usr/bin to /usr/bin. Now it is complaining that it can't find the Xcode version:
Distribution: 10.6 Architecture: i386 Checking cc... looks good. Checking make... looks good. Checking head... looks good. Verifying that installed Xcode version is supported... ERROR: Can't determine Xcode version. I found a file called vers_string in /Developer/usr/bin and copied it to /usr/bin but got the same error message on my next bootstrap try. Do you know what I should copy to where to satisfy this error? It seems a bit odd to me that Apple installs all of the Developer Tools in /Developer but Fink looks for them in /usr. Anyway, thanks for your help so far. I hope that you can guide me to the missing files.
