ARGH! As it turns out, this was never fixed in stable, only in 
unstable! A very evil slip, grmbl.


I have updated stable now, and will put the new passwd into the 
bindist. This is a very bad thing to have happend; I fear I might 
have to release a 0.4.0a only due to this :-(
