Well, I made a test that installed 1000 applications in /tmp all using @executable_path/libintl.dylib to make it like a first time launch each time and to ensure that the lib was not cached anywhere (At least I assume that a different inode would be reloaded from disk rather than a cache) 500 of the libs were stripped and 500 weren't.
The results were conclusive. There is bugger all difference, well perhaps if I did 5000 apps I could find a conclusive winner, but the speed difference is negligible. The only other point is stripped prebound libraries would reduce the space required in the seg_addr_table, but I don't believe that we have come near the point of running out of space yet.
So, forget about it :)
