I doubt that this kind of rather unprofessional and almost personal
course of action will "spur some action". While I commend you for
pointing out, that fink is not near "perfect" yet, I hope that it is
done in a more polite way the next time. Fink is a large project now and
many do watch out "fingers". This said I shall keep my trap shut now.

Personally I would not classify anything in the FAQ as "bug" more or
less as "convinience issues" and since we aren't a paid software product
with harsh retributions due to sofware requirements from a vendor, I
guess it will take some time until such "bugs" will see fixing. At least
that is my guess out of experience with other OSS projects.
