The /sw/bin files should go in a -bin splitoff. See spreadsheet- writeexcel-pm.info for a simple example. Hi Koen,A slightly better solution than just a -bin splitoff may be to have versioned binaries.
So soap-lite-pm586 would contain %p/bin/SOAPsh-586.pl, and soap-lite- pm581 would contain %p/bin/SOAPsh-581.pl, allowing both sets of binaries to be installed at the same time.
If you want the user to be able to use shorter names, you can *also* have a -bin splitoff. Then soap-lite-pm586-bin would contain /sw/bin/ SOAPsh.pl as a symlink to SOAPsh-586.pl, and ditto with pm581-bin, so that a user could use a shorter name for the programs. Of course the - bin packages have to Conflicts/Replace each other.
