I made the transition using the script yesterday (on a ppc). It went very well I'd say. I have placed the output online for anyone who might be interested. The only hangup was having to apt-get -f install to install apt-dev, I then completed with an apt-get dist-upgrade. It's worth noting that I downloaded 820 packages from the Todai team in the process (thanks guys!).
