And, if a native ecj1 is faster than invoking java ecj.jar to compile  
something.
the ecj1 which (as I did understand) is build by gcj is a native  
executable.

another detail is that gcj does not use the main class in ecj.jar as  
the ecj script.
it uses its own special gcc dedicated main class.
