We're sorry that your not-officially-supported-yet configuration broke, but, of course, we didn't test against such a thing at that time. We were testing against the supported configuration.
I don't see this on my test system with fink-0.32.4.1 and only the command-line-tools. It's completely able to selfupdate and build packages. Without seeing some sample output. I suggest to REMOVE again the dependency on Xcode in the fink command and in as many programs as possible. I guess I'm thus supporting Alexander Hansen's view, but would like to add too that the fink command itself is no "broken" without Xcode, just because of the xcodebuild command in the perl script /sw/lib/perl5/Fink/VirtPackage.pm > (FYI the "xcode-select" command in the same script caused no issues). > > Regards, > Remko > > > Were you going to provide an actual bug report with output to indicate where and how the fink command is broken for you?
