Yes, but they were _warnings_ (and I created the code that produced them 
so I knew exactly what was going on) so I ignored them.

$ xcode-select -print-path
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer

I don't know what this defaults to if one installs the Xcode-4.3 
command-line tools without ever having had Xcode installed.
