Hi, I have a problem using apt-get, in that the program doesn't manage to establish a connection to my proxy server: Err http://fink.sourceforge.net release/main Packages Could not resolve '192.168.0.1' On the contrary fink (curl, that is) works fine. My understanding is that I have a problem in setting my shell environment for apt-get, and the man page is not very helpful in this respect. Any help is highly appreciated. gaetano
