It may not make a difference, but I'm running Mac OS 10.1.3 and have the
Developers Tools from December update. Also, I do install things from
unstable, and occasionally use dselect, but haven't updated anything with
fink for close to a month or two. I just did a "fink selfupdate" and was
successful in updating to:

Package manager version: 0.9.9
Distribution version: 0.3.2a.cvs

Afterwards, I tried to do a "fink update-all" and it wouldn't update
anything, but instead told me:

Reading package info...
Information about 381 packages read in 3 seconds.
WARNING: While resolving dependency "esound-bin" for package
"control-center-1.4.0.4-2", package "esound-bin" was not found.
Failed: Can't resolve dependency "esound-bin" for package
"control-center-1.4.0.4-2" (no matching packages/versions found)

There isn't an esound-bin anywhere, even after selfupdate a few times. I
reinstalled esound-0.2.22-6 without complaints or errors, tried to
update-all again, and received the same warning message above, and so fink
still won't update-all. Of course, I'm sure I could update everything
individually, but why is esound-bin in the way of updating? Or better yet,
how I do get around it so I can update control-center too?

I checked the recent messages (even back to Nov and Dec) about
control-center and didn't see anything referring to this problem with
control-center. Is there something else I should update before trying to
update control-center? Or if the solution is out there in the e-mail
archives, maybe just give me a good keyword to search for and I could read
up on it. Is it something to do with this shlibs issue I see occasionally?
