Thanks for the list Mathias.

Fink's problem is indeed apt. The specific error is:

Building program /sw/src/apt-0.5.4-2/apt-0.5.4/bin/apt-cache
ld: Undefined symbols:

__ZTI9pkgSystem
make[2]: *** [/sw/src/apt-0.5.4-2/apt-0.5.4/bin/apt-cache] Error 1

For everyone...

Where is the best place to post messages regarding Fink and the Apr Dev
Tools? Should the fink-developers list be used instead?

What's the current thinking regarding Fink and the Apr Dev Tools? Are the
fink developers looking at compatibility with gcc3.1 as in the latest Dev
Tools or are they waiting until Apple removes the "beta" from the name
(although, I don't expect the Tools will change much, other than just having
more testing done with these tools.)

I'm in dire need to get qt3 that has been compiled with gcc3.1. I've had
problems and it always came down to the patch program that seemed to just
lock up, forever. I decided to just wipe Fink with all of it's packages and
start from scratch, seeing what could be built with gcc3.1. This might not
be the best idea. Should I just get back to where I was using gcc2.9.5 and
then ask someone if they could build a qt3 binary (using gcc3.1) for me?

Thanks.

   Jeff
