Hi,

I didn't get a response on fink-beginners, so I thought I'd try here.
I'm running MacOS 10.2 and Fink 0.10.0.cvs.

I tried to install postgresql with
$ fink install postgresql
and I got:

So I'm wondering:
Why is fink trying to install python? 10.2 comes with python 2.2 in
/usr/bin/.
Where does the dependency on XFree86 come from, and how do I get rid of
it?

TIA,
-Otto.
