        Heh, thanks. One newer release is enough, I think. Until the
        next release, it may be the case that I have already upgraded
        to 10.2. Or maybe not. :-)

        Nice that I'm not alone with the idea of supplying security
        updates for packages for the stable distribution. :-)

        I was thinking of something more automated, so the developers
        aren't stressed, but in special cases, even a manual update is
        very much welcome (especially for those limited in memory).

        Since you're quite open to dialog, I would like to express
        that I miss other things from Debian (I've been using Debian
        since version 1.1).

        One of the things that I miss from Debian is the menu
        management system (i.e., the package "menu"), which
        automatically updates the entries in the menus of the window
        managers (it works really well with Window Maker -- that's the
        window manager that I use the most). This makes it quite
        easier to make a multi-user system being consistent.
