When a big company offers support to a project, there are usually strings attached. I do not want to see Fink become a slave to Apple. A competing project has been launched close to Apple (with, it seems to me, restrictions arising therefrom), and I wish both of them all the best. Fair competition from suppliers never did consumers any harm.
