Because I'm an X-windows user. I prefer Xwindows and my favorite
window manager (fvwm) to the MacOS GUI (even with X-windows running
on top of it). To use the MacOS GUI, I have to laboriously recreate
multiple desktops, mouse functionality that I'm used to, cut and
paste via the mouse without using the keyboard, etc.
Better to just do what I'm used to.
(the mozilla that comes with MacOS works under the MacOS GUI, not
under Xwindows).
And to answer another question, the version of mozilla I have is
1.1.0-4. I think this is the only version of mozilla 1.1 currently
on fink.
