create all of the extra users. Check and see if passwd got installed. If it did, then try 'fink reinstall passwd'.
In any case, once you've gotten passwd installed properly (all the extra
users, etc) then 'fink install sawfish' should build/install everything
else.
It seems to be fixed now, since I can install gnome-games.
But my problem is that I cannot determine when the crash did actually happen, so i dont know what did actually got installed. For example, sawfish was installed, since I'm running it without any reinstallation, but passwd did :(
That's why I wanted to know if there was a way check all the packages, or all the dependencies of one other package.
Thanks again for your help,
Pejvan

I have had a weird and stupid crash while installing sawfish and it's 34 dependencies : the terminal.app had crashed when I came back home, and I remembered that before leaving, I was asked if i wanted to have other users such as postgres and some others to be created.
now that I check back, these users haven't been created. So it seems that the install hadn't completed when the terminal has crashed. But fink seems to think that it was...
So my question is :
How can i ask fink to reinstall everything for the .deb files, and check that everything is ok ?
thanks,
Pejvan
