No. I mean lets say I go to source forge and find a application I want. I down load the source tarball and then using sutffit unpack it before going into XDarwin or I simply use the Gnome filemanager to unpack it. The CD to the directory and type ./configure
So you know I'm using the latest release of XDarwin not apples X11 or the Fink XFree86
