the workaround is a good idea, but I'd still like to know where is
fink pulling in the settings from. I simply can't find them or
change them. My guess is I have a setting with a typo -- and that's
the only reason the tests are failing.  I still think I must be
missing something.  Afterall, if I start to do an update-all I am
queried about additional installs that will also be done. Surely,
there must be a way to force a query for other settings.
