It does indeed look like the source tarball isn't available. I checked the
package database entry at
http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/package.php/transfig
and it looks like the last version for 10.1 was indeed 3.2.3d7, as Martin
said. You are as up-to-date as you can be for 10.1.

Subject: Re: [Fink-users] Installing xfig

Fink install does try to fetch transfig.3.2.3d.tar.gz. However, it's going
straight to the place where it says it's trying to fetch it from reveals
that the file does not exsist
(www.xfig.org/xfigdist/transfig.3.2.3d.tar.gz...either that or files that
may be visible to fink are somehow hidden?-this has happened alot to other
programs I've tried installing) The only files in that directory are ones
for the latest version ( which I've downloaded and built from scratch
successfully).

.. Though the strange thing is that everytime I do the "delete file and
download again" option, it'll show a status that it's downloaded some file
of approx 20k but this figure is different everytime!!.

So, since I'm sure that my fink version is up to date (assuming that
instructions given on http://fink.sourceforge.net/download/fix-upgrade.php
are correct), does this hint at a deeper underlying problem in the way the
agent goes out and makes updates of valid source addresses?
Perhaps there has already been discussion on this and it's been rectified
for fink that runs on 10.2 (?). If not, who might we report this problem to?
