I tried to install gimp yesterday, but fink and apt-get insist that system-xfree86 is no good and try to replace it with some real xfree packages. I am using 10.2 with gcc 3.3, if that helps. I have Apple's X11 beta installed. Is there a dependency problem, or do I really need these packages?
