Uh-oh, just thought I'd mention I'm still using gs6. I had problems getting gs8 to work with xfig (nasty crashes, corrupted files, lost work), see list archives. I'm actually on xfig3.2.3d still too, I haven't had a time when I dared try the latest versions again. I think I understood the explanations at the time to be that gs8 had changed some of the error/return messages, and xfig didn't (yet) understand them properly. What is the status? Do other uses of xfig think it is safe to try again and see if the current revisions work? I'm on 10.2.8, unstable trees, xFree86 4.4 release candidate 902, and use the latest version of things apart from those two... -- Viv ------------------------------------------------ Dr Viv Kendon [EMAIL PROTECTED] QOLS tel: 020 7594 7746 Blackett Laboratory Imperial College London ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
