Hello
Have been trying to get rdesktop working for a while. Saw on the FAQ that the command "<x-tad-bigger>setenv DISPLAY :0" should help, but alas to no avail. I continue to get the following message:
[sn27-dhcp-91:/Users/nickdabner] nickdabn# rdesktop tlkensington2k.toll.com.au
rdesktop: A Remote Desktop Protocol client.
Version 1.1.0. Copyright (C) 1999-2001 Matt Chapman.
See http://www.rdesktop.org/ for more information.
ERROR: Failed to open display
ERROR: send: Socket operation on non-socket
I am using 10.3.7 to connect to an NT2000 server. The performance of rdesktop on our old pentium 100 machines running a linux kernel is great, whereas the Microsoft client can take a few seconds to draw an access table on my g3 ibook. Very keen to get this working.
TIA
