Did you install the DevSDK package from XCode (as the FAQ entry I sent suggested)? It frequently gets tagged as "optional".
If you do have that, then you'll want to look in the config.log file in the mutella build directory (most likely /sw/src/mutella-0.4.3.0-12/mutella-0.4.3.0/config.log) and see if there's anything about a file not being found.
