sometimes, the problem with building g77 can be fixed by:
cd /usr/ports
sudo ln -s c++filt c++filt3
but perhaps that's not the problem in this case?
Following up on the c++filt mystery. Although locate seems to indicate
c++filt exists
[Kettlebridge:~] donpaul% locate c++filt
/Applications/Adium.app/Contents/Resources/c++filt
/usr/bin/c++filt
/usr/bin/c++filt2
/usr/bin/c++filt3
/usr/share/man/man1/c++filt.1
When I look in /usr/bin it doesn't seem to be there, or is there
something here I don't understand
Kettlebridge:~] donpaul% cd /usr/bin
[Kettlebridge:/usr/bin] donpaul% ls c++*
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 7 Jun 10 22:00 c++@ -> g++-4.0
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 7 Jun 10 21:55 c++-3.3@ -> g++-3.3
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 39524 Mar 20 20:56 c++-4.0*
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 4 Sep 19 2004 c++3@ -> g++3
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 47512 Apr 16 19:17 c++filt2*
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 97016 Apr 16 19:17 c++filt3*
Should I just make an alias to c++filt3? I don't have a /usr/ports
directory!
Thanks for the comments so far.
Don
