Hello,
Until this morning I was happily running a fink install on my G4
Powerbook running OSX 10.3.9. I'd never upgraded fink since I installed
it from new early last year.
This morning I ran fink update all, and all seemed to be going fine.
About half way though I started getting errors
"dyld: tar version mismatch for library: /usr/lib/libiconv.2.dylib
(compatibility version of user: 6.0.0 greater than library's version: 5.0.0)
Trace/BPT trap"
I get this trying to run dpkg, tar and fink, possibly other programs. I
can't see a way to update libiconv that doesn't require me to run tar or
fink or dpkg.
Any ideas how I can complete this upgrade? I'd really rather not have
to install fink from scratch again if I can avoid it.
cheers,
Dave
